Salam.
Wednesday! The day which i have the 2nd least classes for the week. That is 2 classes which are Statistics and Accounting. We had a group discussion at Stats class just now. Thank God my group only consists of boys now :) We just went through and answer a few exercises. Quite simple because its really straightforward.
Nothing special on Accounting. We learned how to record transactions on journals, posting them to ledgers and doing the trial balance. Its a pain when u're trial balance does not balance! Detecting the error is harder than when u are doing the whole thing itself because u literally have to go through each transactions again one by one.. Oh and make sure u're 0s are not 6s ;) One single digit error will make u cry in the end.
Well i guess that's all. I'm still furious because my slipper (laces?) snapped. It was my FAVOURITE slippers! Yea.. it snapped while i was running around in the rain yesterday.. Looks like i have to get new slippers..
Salam. Last night i had accounting class. Yea that was my only night class for the whole week. We and our lecturer agreed to make that class permanent because none of us wanted the class to be on friday morning because you know, friday almost everyone wants to go home ASAP.
Last night we had our first group assignment. My class has only 3 boys and 20+ girls so madam formed 5 groups out of us and all the boys got split into one of these groups! So in my group i was the only guy with 5 girls. It was awkward at first but then kinda got the hang of it. We just have to discuss and do a few questions in our workbook. I've already done those exercises but the girls haven't so we went through the exercises together and explained to those in our group who can't really grasp what we're talking about. I think this is a really good way of learning whereby we discussed and helped each other along they way :) Madam was observing us all the way. She evaluates us by seeing how much we're involved in the discussion and our answers.
Today i had Ism (computer) class, Arabic and Maths. Ism results came out. i got 15/20.. i know its not bad but i think i could've done better.. i didn't study for it.. i hate regrets.. Well there's more quizzes coming up. I'm gonna make sure i'm prepared for them :) We had Arabic today. Yay! Ustaz said he was sick yesterday thats why classes were cancelled. The class went on like usual. Discussed through a few exercises in our textbook.
Maths quiz results also came up! I got 15/15!! Well majority of us got full marks. The quiz was just a single page quiz. I love my Maths lecturer. She's so nice! I never seen a teacher who actually smiled all the way from the beginning to the end of the class!
After maths class, the sky got dark. Its like heavy rainstorm will fall down at any second at that time. I rushed towards my dorm and thankfully didn't event get a drop of rain on my shirt. When i climbed up the stairs then the rain started. Heaviest rain i've seen here at Nilai. I entered my room and i received a call from Nazmi saying that he wants me to pick him up from Block C using car. After a few seconds Mujahid called me and asked me the same thing. So i went back down and drove Aliyah's car to Block C and fetch them. I got a lil wet because i have to walk a little bit under the rain to get to the car. This is my first time experience driving in campus! Hahah. I LOVE DRIVING!
Salam. Just got back from class. I had stats and fim just now. Supposed to have arabic in the morning but class was cancelled -_- Same with last week arabic monday morning cancelled. Most of my friends who suppose to have classes in the morning also got their classes cancelled. Lecturers experiencing the monday blues?
Whats great in stats just now is that our quiz result came up! Alhmdllh i got 17/20. I don't wanna boast but thats the best result among the 5 boys in my class heheh. I don't know about the girls' results though. I bet there's one who got 20/20 o_O In fim class, same'ol same'ol. Ustaz just give lectures and we just sit there n listen. Out of all my classes i think my fim class will be the most similar to our real u life in the main campus later. If u want to or not want to write notes it totally depends on u in his class.
Oh and also today i discovered a new way to get to the internet from here (Nilai) apart from the slow public MPN Wifi Zone and dormates' Broadbands. Its embarrassing to keep asking my friends for their broadbands to have access to the internet so i want to find other ways to connect to the internet. There is a private college right here in our campus actually named Murni Nursing College. They provide a Hotspot wifi access with a bit of charge of course so i thought i wanna try it out.
They sell these wifi prepaid access cards which can be bought either from their it department or from the post office right beside the kedai runcit. So just now i bought one prepaid card from the post office for RM10. Written on this card is a Username and a Password. To access the internet, ur pc needs to be connected to the Murni Hotspot Wifi first. Then open your browser and it will autmotically direct u to the Murni Hotpot login page. There, just key in the username and password that was on the card and voila! u can access the internet.
U have a total of 18 hours that u can use to access the internet using a single card. So its RM10 for 18 hours of internet. Quite fair right? If u go to cybercafes down there they charge u at least RM2/hour. So for RM10 u can only get 5 hours. So this Murni package is like more than 3 times far more worth it than the ccs down there. And this 18 hours u don't have to use them continuously in one go. U can use one hour today. So, the next time u use the internet u will have a balance of 17 hours.

Just got back from tutoring 2 of my juniors. I'm teaching them accounting and physics respectively. They're doing fine i guess. Hopefully they're able to understand they way i teach.
Going back to my campus at Nilai tonight. Aliyah is going to fetch me. This is the first time experience whereby a girl is fetching me and drive us to our campus. Usually guys do that.. Right? She's also gonna fetch one of her friends before going to Nilai. Thank God it's not only the two of us or not i'm sure it'll be an awkward 50-60mins trip o_O
Ok right now i'm just sitting on my laptop playing some LAN games with my bros. Should start packing soon.
Salam. To anyone who's reading this. This is my first blog post. I'm still new to all this blogging thing. I'm still getting used to it. Many people say its fun and its a good way to release tension. I'm a pre-u student at Centre for Foundation Studies IIUM. I think its good that a student should have their own blog. Maybe it will build up their personality? Ok even i don't know why i said that. Ok its 2 am and i'm supposed to be sleeping now. Got to do some tutoring tomorrow morning.
